Animato International Violin Competition 2016

The Animato International Violin Competition 2016 will happen at the same time and same venue as the the Animato International String Quartet Competition. The 1st winner will perform one of the two major Mozart Violin Concertos in the public concert, accompanied by an orchestra consisting of all contestants* and all players of the String Quartet Competition – under the baton of John Curro.
The performance will be on Sunday 6 November 2016, 2pm at the Old Museum Building, Brisbane, Australia

First Prize $5000

This triennial competition is for violinists aged 17 years or younger on 31 March 2016 (deadline for applications)
